We start work without a deposit. You pay when you see the first result.

For more than six years we have worked by this rule: first we deliver a piece of work that shows the level — the main page design or a key block of the future product. Then you decide.

No deposit · One concept · One revision round

The main rule

First comes the work, so the level is visible. Then payment.

We do not ask for an advance payment at the start. We first deliver the scope agreed with you — usually the main page design or a key product screen — and show the result. You see what you are paying for: approach, depth of work and quality of decisions.

Order

The path from the first conversation to first payment

Until the invoice, you risk nothing except time for the meeting and providing source data.

  1. 01meeting and task
  2. 02Decision whether we take it on
  3. 03Scope first stage
  4. 04work without deposit
  5. 05Presentation and payment

We may stop cooperation before payment if our view of the project does not align with yours. In that case, we do not invoice the completed part and the materials remain unused.

Concept

One concept, rather than three options to choose from

01 · Quantity

One concept

We show one decision, not a set of layouts to choose from. Three options mean two were made without confidence in the result.

02 · Rationale

We explain why exactly this

The concept comes with logic: business task, audience, journey and structure. We discuss arguments, not “I like it / I do not like it”.

03 · Revisions

One free revision round

After the presentation, you provide one consolidated list of comments. We revise the concept within the approved structure and stage budget.

04 · Change of direction

A new concept — a new estimate

If another concept is needed after the direction is approved, it is separate work with a separate timeline and cost.

We are responsible for the decisions we propose. Therefore, we propose one.

Revisions

One free round – with clear boundaries

There are no endless revisions. Below is what is included in the free round and what counts as a new task.

Included in the free round1 round

  • Inconsistencies with the brief and approved structure
  • Defects, mistakes and inaccuracies on our side
  • Changes to text, sizes, spacing and element order
  • Styling details within the chosen direction
  • One list of comments from the entire client team
  • Scope to 10{85c32a404beb3a17fad9859395e98171d5844d669a872c9f6728ab61e397d515} budget stage or to 8 hours work
  • Submission deadline: 5 working days after stage handover

Not included — separate estimateNew task

  • Changing the concept, style or direction after approval
  • New page structure, blocks, screens or pages
  • Change of requirements, functionality or technical challenge
  • Returning to already approved and closed stages
  • Revisions outside the budget or requiring rework
  • Second and subsequent revision rounds
  • Urgent work outside the schedule and on weekends

We estimate work beyond the free round in advance: hourly rate or fixed task cost. Without written approval, we do nothing and invoice nothing.

Scope

What not included By default, at additional cost

We perform this work, but assess and charge it separately if it was not included in the initial estimate.

01 · content

Website content entry

We do not populate websites with products, articles or materials. This is a separate task with its own scope and cost.

02 · Texts

Copywriting

If texts were not included in the initial estimate, the client prepares them or we do so as separate paid work.

03 · Media

Photography, video and illustrations

Filming, stock purchases, image processg and preparation are not included in design or development costs.

04 · Services

Hosting, domains and licences

Hosting, domain, paid module, font and third-party service costs are paid by the client at actual cost.

Communication

The same people from first meeting to release

  1. 01 · participants

The meeting team does not change without approval

We run the project with the people who started it. New participants from the client side are agreed in advance. New people may not know the initial agreements and can introduce conflicting changes, damaging the project and deadlines. Unauthorised third parties may lead us to suspend or end the engagement.

Agreed team · No third parties

  2. 02 · Revisions

One list from the entire team

Alignment between departments and managers happens on the client side. We receive one consolidated list of comments, not successive waves of revisions from different people. The client resolves conflicting comments before sending the list.

One point of contact · One list

  3. 03 · Our side

Founder involved in the project and approving decisions

The founder participates in the work and approves key decisions before handover to the client. We do not hand the project to outside contractors without your knowledge.

    Responsibility · No blind subcontracting

  4. 04 · Pace

    Deadlines depend on feedback

We allow up to 3 working days for replies and materials. If the client pauses for more than 10 working days, the project goes on hold and deadlines and its place in the schedule are reviewed.

SLA for replies · Schedule review

Selection

We do not take every project – only those where we see potential

Working without a deposit is possible only when we believe in the project. We therefore assess it ourselves first.

01

The task has business value

We understand where demand comes from and how the project earns. If we do not understand, we say so directly.

02

The decision is made by the person at the table

We need contact with the person who makes decisions, not a chain of information handoffs.

03

Our vision aligns

We may decline to continue before payment if we see a fundamental difference in vision.

04

The client has resources

Materials, access and answers arrive on time. Without this, any timeline is only a declaration.

Payment

How payments work

Design, development, auditandNo deposit at the start

We complete the first stage without a deposit. Afterwards, payment is made by stage after the stage is closed.

  • Payment by stage; every stage is agreed in writing
  • Invoice after stage acceptance
  • Rights and source files are transferred after full payment
  • A change in scope changes cost and timeline; agreed before work starts

The advertising budget and its management are paid in advance; funds go directly to the platforms.

  • Media budget — full prepayment before launch
  • Management payment — in advance for the billing period
  • Platform spend is confirmed by reports
  • Without payment, campaigns are not launched or renewed

Documents

All agreements — in writing

The rules on these pages are fixed in the contract: stage scope, acceptance procedure, revision boundaries, timeline, rights to the result and termination terms. You can review them before work starts.

We work with sole proprietors and legal entities in Ukraine and the EU; if needed, we sign an NDA before the first meeting.

We send the current contract version and NDA template in response to a request, before the first meeting.

Questions

What people usually clarify about working terms

For more than 6 years, we have started without a deposit and delivered a first result that can be assessed. During this time, every customer who saw the first stage paid for it and continued cooperation. For the client, this means zero financial risk at the start; for us, it filters projects we truly believe in.

One. We do not make several layouts to choose from: a concept is a decision grounded in the task, audience and data, not taste. Instead of three options, you receive one concept with an explanation and one free revision round.

Corrections to inconsistencies with the brief, defects and small changes within the approved structure and stage budget: text, sizes, element order and styling details. One round, in one list, up to 10{85c32a404beb3a17fad9859395e98171d5844d669a872c9f6728ab61e397d515} of the stage budget. A concept change, new structure, blocks or pages is a new task with a separate estimate.

Yes, until payment. If our vision does not align with the client’s, we stop cooperation and do not invoice the completed part. This is more honest than delivering work we do not believe in.

No. Populating the website with products, articles and materials is a separate task, assessed and paid separately. The same applies to copywriting if it was not included in the initial estimate.

We work with the people who started the project. New client-side participants are added only with prior approval. Revisions arrive as one list from the entire client team; departments align on the client side. On our side, the founder participates and approves key decisions.
